Christmas Dinners for families in Haiti

Life is never easy in Haiti, but it seems to grow increasingly difficult with each passing year. The students at Three Angels Christian Academy experience these difficulties on a daily basis. A simple walk to school has become a dangerous journey, and the sights and sounds along the way are often traumatizing. Many of their families have been displaced due to gang violence, and most struggle to put food on the table because of both skyrocketing prices and scarcity of supplies. For many of these children, the lunch they receive at school is the only meal they will eat all day. Providing Christmas dinners for these struggling families is more important than ever this year.

You might recall our difficulty with sourcing chickens for these dinners last year. It’s likely we’ll experience that same challenge this year, but never fear: our Haitian staff will select an alternative that will be pleasing for these families, so everyone will still receive a complete meal!
